I have been absolutely crazy over the choker wrap trend that has been sweeping the fashion scene over the past year. It's such a simple accessory that can spruce up any old outfit. I decided I just HAD to make my own, and of course I wanted to share it with all of you. Oh, and you want to know the coolest thing about this DIY? It seriously takes less than 5 minutes to make!
Metal necklace ends
1. Wrap the velvet ribbon around your neck to determine the length. Once you like how it looks, cut the ribbon to size.
2. Slide one end of the ribbon into a metal necklace end, and then clamp it down with a pair of pliers. Repeat with the other side.
3. Open up the link on one of the charms with the pliers. Attach the open link to the hole on the metal necklace end. Make sure to fully close the link on the charm so it does not fall off the necklace. Repeat with the other side.
Now that I know how easy these are to make, I want one in every color! I'm thinking it would also be fun to experiment with colored leather too. What do you think?
